PCG MOVES TO NEW CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS
PCG has moved into new corporate headquarters to more efficiently manage our office resources, accommodate our customers' needs, and manage new growth in both employees and services. The new office, housed in a renovated two-story building at 16400 College Boulevard, Lenexa, Kansas is only one block away from PCG’s old headquarters.

“The new office design supports the goals to provide employee comfort through more organized work stations," said Craig Davis, president and CEO of PCG. “By housing all our corporate support personnel in one office, we improve efficiency between work teams through a more logical flow of communications between departments."

The renovated building also has a modern server room from which PCG can manage our widespread IT base across the U.S. PCG's old building at 16047 West 110th Street (Lenexa, KS) now houses the offices of both the Kansas City Insulation and Specialty Services group and its manufacturing operations. Phone and fax numbers have remained the same, as well as email addresses.

PCG RANKS TENTH AMONG THE TOP 600 U.S. SPECIALTY CONTRACTORS

PCG moved to the No. 10 spot in the ENR Magazine's ranking of the top 600 U.S. specialty contractors, according to ENR Magazine's October 17, 2005 issue. ENR Magazine conducts a yearly ranking of U.S. specialty contractors according to revenue.

Among wall and ceiling contractors, PCG again ranked No. 2 among the top U.S. wall and ceiling contractors. Among asbestos abatement contractors, PCG moved to the No. 6 position nationally.

PCG ACHIEVES OUSTANDING YEAR-END INCIDENT RATE OF LESS THAN 1.0

PCG's corporate safety performance has been no less than stellar: Never before in the history of PCG has their fiscal year-end incident rate been below 1.0. PCG has achieved an incident rate of .95, accompanied by a severity rate of 1.06. This means PCG had less than one OSHA-recordable injury for every 200,000 manhours. Additionally, their number of lost-time days now borders on the “less than one” position.

Mick Matthews, senior vice president of PCG, congratulated the PCG Corporate Safety Department for their outstanding accomplishment. “It goes without saying that our 2004 results were generated through the time and effort of many individuals, he said. "I am convinced that our overall approach to the construction business -- one that truly encompasses safety as an integral part of all our operations -- is correct. A portion of the credit goes to each member of the Corporate Safety Department, not to mention the untiring dedication of all our branch and project employees, each and every day. The continued creativity, diligence, enthusiasm, attention to detail and lots of hard work and long hours, have helped PCG achieve this most significant milestone.”

PCI WINS NIA's outstanding safety award for third consecutive year

PCI is again the proud winner of the National Insulation Association's (NIA) 2005 Theodore H. Brodie Distinguished Safety Award. This is the third consecutive year for the company to win in the large company category. The winners were announced on March 25th, 2006 at NIA's 51st Annual Convention in San Antonio, TX.

The safety award honors top companies that have established, by taking proactive steps to implement simple safe working practices, outstanding safety programs and the results they have achieved as measured by their injury rates and experience modification rate data. Companies that apply for the award must complete a written application, submit a brief safety statement and a copy of their latest safety statistics on the Labor Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) 300A form.

Glenn Frye, senior vice president of PCI, accepted an award plaque during the awards ceremony held at NIA's convention, presented by 2006 NIA President Gerald Scott. PCI will also receive public acknowledgement in NIA's trade publication Insulation Outlook, NIA's member newsletter NIA News, and through the NIA website, www.insulation.org.

The safety award is named in honor of Theodore H. Brodie, former NIA president and long-time active member, who has helped to create a greater awareness of the need for safe working conditions. Brodie's contributions, since first chairing the association's Health and Safety Committee in 1967, include work on asbestos issues and participation in the OSHA rule-making process on synthetic vitreous fibers. Brodie is the president and CEO of New England Insulation Co., Inc. located in Canton, MA.

National Insulation Association (NIA) presented “The Theodore H. Brodie Safety Award” to PCI'S ISS Division in the “large contractor” category. The award was presented to Mr. Glenn Frye during NIA'S annual business meeting at their convention in Tucson Arizona.

Mr. Dale Haden, PCG corporate safety manager (and shown above at right), indicated that internally "we’ve always known how good we are. These awards simply confirm what has been obvious to us for some time: that we have the best safety program in the industry. Everyone in the organization should be extremely proud of the recognition these two awards bring us. Achieving excellence in safety is a group effort, and our group certainly has excelled."
